There are new recommendations from health experts about how to prevent children from developing food allergies.

The academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology suggests introducing your child to peanut butter, eggs and shellfish when they are between four and 6-months-old.

This represents a little different thinking than the guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics, which has always been that parents should wait until age three to give their kids these foods.
