CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- This month, Franklin and several others are being featured in a PSA campaign sponsored by the Mental Health Agency of Central Carolinas.

The PSA’s begin with one word -- stigma.

"Stigma is the number one reason people don't get the help they need to begin their journey towards recovery,” says one of the people included in the campaign.

Franklin hopes the message is clear.

"All we're asking people to do is have one conversation with one person and break that stigma,” he says.

You can learn more about where to get help by logging onto Mental Health of the Carolinas  website at:
www.mhacentralcarolinas.org.

And if you need help, you can call 704-358-2800.
