A recall has been issued for Entenmann’s Little Bites after pieces of plastic were found in the product due to a “manufacturing failure.”

The company says one injury has been reported as a result, but did not elaborate.

The following products are included in the recall:

  • Little Bites fudge brownies five pack: Best by date of Oct. 8, 2016. UPC code: 7203001342.
  • Little Bites chocolate chip muffins five pack: Best by date of Oct. 8, 2016. UPC code: 7203001353.
  • Little Bites chocolate chip muffins 10 pack: Best by date of Oct. 8, 2016. UPC code: 7203002111.
  • Little Bites variety 20 pack (fudge brownies, chocolate chip muffins, blueberry muffins): Best by date of Sept. 24, 2016. UPC code: 7203001799.

In every case, the code number “3098” is printed next to the box’s best by date.

The product was distributed to stores within the last two weeks. All unsold impacted products are being removed from shelves.

Entenmann’s says the FDA has been notified of their voluntary recall.

If you purchased the product, throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
