Server donates 20% of his income to fight breast cancer

Local waiter is donating part of his income to local breast cancer organization.

BRYAN, Texas -  A local server is donating 20 percent of his income to help beat the you know what out of breast cancer. William Schanning works at Caffe Capri in downtown Bryan. The money he raises will go to Pink Alliance, a local organization that serves people in the Brazos Valley.

This is the second year Schanning has pledged his efforts to the cause. Last year he donated more than $700. This year, he has already surpassed that with the help of donations. Now, he's encouraging others to get involved. 
"It doesn't matter how young or how old you are, you can get out and help support a cause that you believe in," said Schanning. 
Schanning's goal is to raise $2,000. You can visiting him while he serves tomorrow, that is when Pink Alliance is partnering with restaurants to "Paint the Town Pink."
Five percent of your bill will be donated to Pink Alliance when you eat at a partnering restaurant. Click here for a full list of the places participating.
