CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The annual Scouting for Food Drive is in full swing. Last year the drive collected 255,000 pounds of food for Loaves and Fishes, the organization who sponsors the event.

There are several ways you can help. Mecklenburg Boy Scouts dropped off bags at neighborhoods across the county last Saturday.

They'll be picking those bags back up this Saturday, February 2. Folks can also drop off food at collection barrels at Harris Teeter locations across Mecklenburg from February 2 through the February 10.

Lastly, tractor-trailer trucks will be collecting food at various sites on February 2 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and February 3rd from 12:30-2:30 p.m.

To see those sites visit the Loaves and Fishes website.
