HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- One person is hospitalized following a reported jet ski accident, according to authorities.
Paramedics conducted resuscitation efforts on the patient following a drowning call in Latta Plantation Wednesday afternoon. The patient is being treated for life-threatening injuries at Novant Health Huntersville.
MEDIC says the Long Creek Fire and Huntersville Fire also responded to the drowning call. Long Creek Fire reports that the incident was a jet ski accident.
This incident happened in the same location where North Mecklenburg High School student Marcos Hernandez-Magana drowned almost exactly two years ago.
