LANCASTER, S.C. -- The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office has arrested two people in connection with an armed robbery last week.

Authorities say 22-year-old Robert Colton Mehaffey robbed the Lloyd's store on Highway 9 in Lancaster last Sunday night.

The Sheriff's Office says Mehaffey entered the store with a handgun, presented a note and fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Mehaffey was arrested Friday and charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. His bond was denied.

Authorities also arrested 17-year-old Summer Faith Hinson and charged with accessory before the fact of armed robbery; officials say she wrote the note Mehaffey used in the hold-up.

Hinson resisted arrest Saturday, leading to an additional charge. She was booked in to the Lancaster County Detention Center under a $50,000 bond.
