CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say they’re looking for two suspects after a man and woman were shot during a birthday celebration.
It happened around 12:35 a.m. Tuesday at an apartment on West Boulevard near Wilmore Drive.
Police say a group of five people were celebrating someone’s birthday when two suspects with their faces covered entered the apartment. They forced everyone to the ground, robbed them and then opened fire, police say.
The woman was grazed in the head by a bullet; the man was shot in the hand. Both are expected to be ok.
