CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two Charlotte women are behind bars accused of involvement in multiple car burglaries.

Last Monday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police were dispatched to a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle call in the 6700 block of Cow Hollow Drive. A witness reported to officers that two people had broken into his neighbor's car. After sharing with officers a detailed description of the suspects and their vehicle, authorities spotted their suspects walking toward a nearby apartment complex.

Evidence gathered implicated Laquisha Norman, 23, and Kierita Coleman, 35, in the car burglary that night.

Further investigating led officers to charge Norman and Coleman with four other vehicle break-ins.

Norman and Coleman each face four counts of breaking and entering automobile, four counts of larceny and five counts of stolen property.
