21 Charged in Burke County roundup

MORGANTON, N.C. -- The Burke County Sheriff’s Office, Burke County Narcotics Task Force and Morganton Public Safety all teamed up to hold a one-day warrant roundup Monday.  A total of 27 warrants were served on 21 individuals, according to a press release from Burke County Sheriff's Office.

Below are the list of individuals being charged by Burke County Sheriff's Office:

  • Michelle Renate Beck, 21, of Morganton, was charged with on felony count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, one felony count of possession of schedule II controlled substance, one felony count of possession of schedule I controlled substance. She was issued a $2,500 secured bond.
  • Joey Lee Canterberry, 29, of Connelly Springs, was charged with one felony count of breaking and entering, one felony count of larceny after breaking and entering and one felony count of possession of stolen goods. He was issued a $15,000 secured bond.
  • Austin Charles Davis, 36, of Morganton, was charged with one felony count of possession of schedule I controlled substance, one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana paraphernalia, a misdemeanor count of possession of dug paraphernalia, one misdemeanor count of synthetic cannabinoid possession of under 21 grams and a misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana up to half-ounce. He was issued a $21,000 secured bond.
  • Heidi Lynn Epley, 25, of Morganton, was charged with a failure to appear on one misdemeanor count of simple assault and a failure to appear on one misdemeanor count of second degree trespassing. She was issued a $1,000 secured bond.
  • Tabita Brie Evans, 32, of Connelly Springs, was charged with one felony count of stolen property. She was issued a $10,000 secured bond.
  • Diane Ethel Feery, 63, of Glen Alpine, was charged with two felony counts of possession of methamphetamine and one felony count of possession of schedule IV controlled substance. She was issued a $3,000 secured bond.
  • Destiny Estelle Good, 22, of Morganton, was charged with one felony count of possession of schedule II controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a $50,000 secured bond.
  • Jessica Leanne Harris, 26, of Morganton, was charged with one felony count of unlawful obtaining of a credit card, one felony count of financial card fraud, one felony count of possession of schedule II controlled substance, one misdemeanor count of larceny, one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia, a failure to appear for one misdemeanor count of resisting a public officer and a failure to appear for one misdemeanor count of shoplifting concealment of goods. She was issued a $10,000 secured bond.
  • Wesley Sion Hart, 28, of Valdese, was charged with one felony count of breaking and/or entering, one felony count of larceny after breaking and/or entering and one felony count of possession of stolen goods. He was issued a $2,000 secured bond.
  • Victoria Eden Hennessee, 27, of Morganton, was charged with one misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana paraphernalia and one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a $500 secured bond.
  • Benjamin Earl Johnson, 43, of Morganton, was charged with a traffic infraction of driving with license revoked-not impaired. He was issued a $500 secured bond.
  • Devin Levi Johnson, 33, of Morganton, was charged with one misdemeanor count of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance, one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana paraphernalia and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a $500 secured bond.
  • Michael Brenton Leonard, 24, of Valdese, was charged with one felony count of possession of methamphetamine and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a $3,000 secured bond.
  • Chelsea Nicholle Martin, 24, of Valdese, was charged with one felony possession of methamphetamine and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a $3,000 secured bond.
  • Nathaniel David Meise, 26, of Morganton, was charged with one felony count of larceny, one felony count of trafficking methamphetamine and one misdemeanor count of larceny. He was issued a $111,000 secured bond.
  • Tiffany Marie Pickard, 24, of Morganton, was charged with one felony count of possession of methamphetamine. She was issued a written promise.
  • Charles Lee Reed, 36, of Morganton, was charged with a failure to appear for driving with license revoked-not impaired. He was issued a $2,500 secured bond.
  • Franklin Todd Taylor, 46, of Morganton, was charged with one misdemeanor count of assault on a female. He was issued a $2,500 secured bond.

Not pictured:

  • Dennis Alrfred Brockland, 74, of Morganton, was charged with a misdemeanor count of an assault on a female, one misdemeanor count of assault by pointing a gun and one misdemeanor count of communicating threats. He was issued a 48-hour hold.
  • Wesley Tyler Morehead, 19, of Morganton, was charged with a felony count of possession of Schedule 1 substance. He was issued a $1,000 secured bond.
  • Theodore Edward Yaeger, 46, of Valdese, was charged with a failure to appear for speeding and a failure to appear for driving while license revoked - not impaired driving revocation. He was issued a $500 secured bond.
