CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- An early morning condo fire in east Charlotte displaced 28 people, according to fire officials.
A fire broke out at the Sharon Chase condominium complex on Arching Oak Lane around 3 a.m.
The first started on the roof of the condo and ripped through several condo units, according to fire officials.
A total of 28 people were displaced due to the fire, including 13 children. The Red Cross is helping the victims find a place to stay.
There were no reported injuries and the official cause of the fire is still under investigation.
