4 hurt in Gastonia limousine wreck heading to burial

GASTONIA, N.C. (AP) -- A a limousine headed to a Gastonia cemetery for a burial has been involved in a wreck that sent four people to the hospital.

Scott Greene of Greene Funeral Services says none of family members of the deceased were hurt in the wreck late Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Gaston Gazette reported (http://bit.ly/14n6Al9) that Gastonia Police Sgt. K.C. McCabe says the funeral procession was traveling east and some vehicles had slowed in the westbound lane when a truck struck one of the vehicles, pushing it into the eastbound lanes.
 
Gaston Emergency Medical Services took four patients to CaroMont Regional Medical Center. None of them had life-threatening injuries.
 
Those in the limousine transferred to another vehicle to get to the cemetery.
 
McCabe says no decision has been made on possible charges.
