FOG, FOG AND MORE FOG

Just waking up? You may want to give yourself a little extra time. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the Charlotte area. 

The FAA also issued a ground-stop at Charlotte-Douglas due to the thick fog creating a "low ceiling." The airport tweeted early Thursday morning encouraging travelers to check with their airlines on flight statuses. Click here for Thursday's forecast. 

#KEEPPOUNDING IN 2017

The NFL announced in a statement online that the 2017 NFL regular-season schedule will be announced at 8 p.m. Thursday on their network.

MISSING MOORESVILLE MAN

Mooresville Police are asking the public for help finding a missing 40-year-old man.

According to officials, Michael Scott Bell last made contact with his family around 5 p.m. Wednesday. There's concern around Bell as he is believed to be at risk due to recent health issues.

MWAH? UGLY?

We have beautiful Carolina blue skies, an uptown skyline to die for, and plenty of gorgeous hiking trails within a short drive of the Queen City. But apparently, we're ugly.

Like, one-of-the-five-ugliest-cities-in-America ugly, according to a recent Travel + Leisure survey. And they don't mean the city, either. They mean the people who call Charlotte home.

Charlotte was named the fourth least attractive city in the country. The attractive score was part of a series of questions that judged cities across America on a number of categories. Click here to see who ranked 'uglier' than Charlotte. 

IS ROCK HILL BUSTING A NATIONWIDE CRIME RING?

A credit card skimmer found at a Rock Hill bank could help police bust a nationwide crime ring.

Investigators are now working with federal officials to catch two men caught on surveillance video before they strike again. Police think the men may be a part of a national Romanian refugee card skimming ring that federal officials busted years ago.
