Aircraft lands without landing gear at Rowan Co. Airport

SALISBURY, N.C. -- A small aircraft was forced to make a landing without landing gear Thursday morning in Rowan County.

The pilot of the Beech BE95 twin-engine plane was the only person aboard at 10:15 when the the aircraft made an unusual landing at the Rowan County Airport.

As of 11:30, the runway was still shut down, but authorities say they expect it to reopen soon.

No one was injured in the incident.
