ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- A body was discovered after firefighters were called to a fire near an elementary school on Friday night.
Fire officials were called to a fire on Millbridge Road near Millbridge Elementary around 8 p.m.
Upon arriving on the scene, firefighters discovered a body near a structure were the fire started.
Authorities are on the scene investigating and have not yet identified the body.
