MONROE, N.C. – One boy was rushed to the hospital in Monroe Tuesday morning after being injured by larger lawn mower tractor.
The incident occurred around 9:40 a.m. near Tomberlin Street near Carolinas Medical Center – Union, according to the Monroe Police Department.
The boy suffered a serious leg injury during an incident with a heavy tractor mower and was with his father at the time of the incident, officials said.
It’s unclear exactly what happened, but no charges are expected to be filed.
The boy was transferred to CMC Main. The victim’s name has not been released.
