MIDLAND, N.C. -- The Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office is investigating two recent burglaries at a Midland lawn care business.
Police say on May 17 four people broke into STI Turf Care Equipment.
Surveillance video shows three men breaking a window to get inside the store. A fourth person is driving a burgundy Toyota 4Runner, which might be a 1994, 1995 or 1996 model.
Police say the burglars stole several Echo Weed Trimmers.
Just two days later, on May 19, deputies say the business was burglarized again. This time, two burglars stole several Stihl chainsaws.
In that case, the men were driving a white, four-door car -- possibly a Toyota Corolla or Geo Prism.
Investigators have not said if they believe the two cases are related.
