CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing man.
Police say 36-year-old Jason Paul Foster was last seen leaving for work at 8:30 a.m. last Tuesday, October 15.
Foster's wife, Lauren Black-Foster, told NBC Charlotte her husband's co-workers claim Foster went to get a cup of coffee, then told someone he had to get his headphones from his car.
Foster's vehicle was last seen leaving his employer, Wells Fargo, in the 1500 block of West W. T. Harris Boulevard.
CMPD says Foster's vehicle is a gray 4-door 2009 Hyundai Sonata with NC tag XYJ-4928. The front windshield is cracked and there is a '26.2' marathon sticker on the back of the car.
Foster himself is described as standing 6-foot-2 and weighing-in at 200 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Black-Foster said there has been no sign of her husband since Tuesday morning, noting his cell phone is dead and "no activity whatsoever on his credit cards or any of his accounts."
She said her husband has never done anything like this before and does not suffer from any medical conditions.
"He is a good worker, a loving husband and he loves our animals," said Black-Foster, who is hoping to celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary next week.
If you have any information on Foster's whereabouts, please call 911 immediately. CMPD Detective J. L. Tuttle is the lead detective on the case. He can be reached at (704) 336-7495.
