CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have located a missing autistic teen Friday morning.

Police said the 15-year-old went went missing from a residence on West Sugar Creek Road in north Charlotte around 3 a.m.

The teen was found safe around 10:15 a.m. in uptown Charlotte at Fifth and Pine streets.
