CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Local school leaders have delivered some good news for parents about make-up snow days.

Students will not have to cut their spring breaks short after all.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools had to cancel classes for three days in a row earlier this month.

The district says now that officials built in pad time to the school calendar. Students only need to make up one day, which is scheduled for March 31. That was previously scheduled to be a teacher workday.
