CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The district attorney has dropped assault charges against Ric Flair's wife because of lack of evidence.
Jacqueline Beems was arrested in February and accused of assaulting the wrestler at their Charlotte home. The police report states Flair received minor injuries and refused to be transported to the hospital.
Flair refused to testify against his wife, which led to the charges being dropped Tuesday.
Flair and Beems met in 2004 in Chicago and dated until they married Nov. 11, 2009. Each was married previously.
