CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Douglas International Airport has been ranked as one of the best airports in the country.
Travel + Leisure magazine just released its rankings and Charlotte's airport is second only to Minneapolis-St. Paul International.
Readers voted based on flight delays, design, food and drink, check-in and security, service and transportation and location. The highest-ranked airports have refurbished terminals and added amenities. Charlotte, for example, earned high marks for Wi-Fi access and it's convenient location.
So what were some of the worst airports?
New York's Laguardia, LAX in Los Angeles and Philadelphia International.
Travelers could leave feedback too, and it seems many people want more drop-in airport spas, so they can get a quick neck, back or foot massage during a layover.
