CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The man who robbed a Wells Fargo branch on South Boulevard Thursday afternoon was arrested on a light rail train shortly afterword, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
The robbery happened at 4:40 p.m. and officers boarded a light rail train at South and East Boulevards where they saw a man matching the description of the suspect.
When police searched the man they found a gun and cash that is believed to belong to the bank.
The suspect was taken to police headquarters for questioning. Police have not released his name.
