CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A Charlotte Church is working to send as much love as possible to the kids of Sandy Hook, organizing an effort to collect 10,000 teddy bears to send to Connecticut.

Brandt Steele says he was sitting in church on Sunday when he came up with the idea.

“This morning I called a couple friends and said, 'Hey. I had this thought and idea. What do you guys think about it?' [They replied] 'We're a hundred percent behind you, lets go,'” he said.

They're also partnering with other churches in the area. For all of the information on drop off locations, you can check out http://www.prayerbear.org/
