CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A dangerous intersection where a man was killed while crossing the street will close Monday.

Back in January Brett Morgan was hit by a dump truck -- that was making a right turn at the corner of Stonewall and College streets.

Another man was injured at the same intersection the very next day.

Monday workers with the city's DOT will begin the process of closing the turn lane, and converting it to on-street parking.

The work is expected to take about three weeks.
