Neighbors in South Charlotte are mulling over the big plans for their community.
Tuesday night, people who live near Park and Woodlawn Roads met with the city planning commission. The discussion centered on the area's future.
One thing on the agenda was making the intersection of Park and Woodlawn safer for pedestrians and bikes.
Planners also are working to enhance the greenway and possibly opening up a public space at the Park Road Shopping center.
Resident Sally Norris says, “They (city) seem to be trying to meet us citizens halfway, if not more than halfway, in establishing communication and answering all of our questions."
The planning committee will hear public comments on February 19.
