CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The relationship management company Convergys Corp., is hiring more than 100 fulltime, seasonal positions.
The company will have an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the Convergys contact center at 8600 McAlpine Park Drive.
The company says new employees will provide technical and sales support to a client in the entertainment industry for a minimum of eight weeks.
"An anticipated increase in our client’s business during the summer months has allowed us to bring seasonal job opportunities to our local community," said Dennis Eaton, site leader for the Convergys contact center in Charlotte.
Two weeks of paid training for the positions will take place through July. Pay is $10 an hour, and evening shifts are available.
