COLUMBIA, S.C. -- A product design and development company announced Wednesday it will expand operations in Rock Hill, creating 50 new jobs over the next five years.
Composite Resources Inc. plans to invest $3.5 million in York County.
"South Carolina has proven to be a perfect fit for our company, providing us with an excellent business environment and a strong workforce," said Jonathan Bennett, president and CEO of Composite Resources Inc.
The company plans to buy five additional acres of land next to its current site in Rock Hill's Tech Park. The expansion will create a plant dedicated to production of military and medical products.
Composite Resources plans to begin hiring for the positions by the beginning of the second quarter of 2010.
