Construction workers shot, robbed of cash

CONCORD, N.C.— Concord Police are looking for the suspects that robbed two workers at a construction site Saturday afternoon.

A witness at the scene says two men came up to the workers, who were working on a house on Donelea Drive, and shot and robbed the workers of $600.

Both victims are said to be men in their 20’s.

The witness tells NewsChannel 36 that one of the victims was shot in the arm and the other was shot in the leg.

The two suspects are still on the run.

There is no word at this point of who police are looking for.
