CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- An overnight accident on the light rail track in south Charlotte caused brief delays Wednesday morning.
The accident happened south of the Scaleybark Station and damaged a portion of the Blue Line track.
A spokesperson for CATS said the Blue Line resumed its regular schedule around 7 a.m. on both sides of the track.
However, it will operate at a slower speed through the Scaleybark area for the time being.
CATS has canceled an express bus service at the I-485 LYNX Station that was planned to take commuters directly into uptown.
