CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A 21-story condo tower that has been sitting empty in uptown Charlotte may eventually become a hotel.
Small Brothers bought The Park Condos on Third and Caldwell late last year and said they would start construction again after the original owners went bankrupt.
The plans now include 74 condos, a hotel with 148 rooms and a rooftop restaurant and garden.
The company needs to change the zoning to make it happen. That hearing is set for April.
Construction at The Park stalled more than a year ago after the project went bankrupt.
