GRANITE FALLS, N.C. -- The family of a pawn shop owner who was killed during a robbery six weeks ago is asking for the public's help finding the killer.

Tony Lee Myers was killed Dec. 28, 2009, at Granite Gun and Pawn along Highway 321 in Granite Falls.

His sons told reporters Tuesday that the store has been closed since the killing and they plan to sell it.

Police released a sketch of the gunman soon after the murder, but so far, investigators haven't made any arrests.

"Anything that you can think of -- a person that was in the area at that time, maybe around Christmas, that was maybe from out of town and just happened to be here. Just anything that we can get from the public that could help point us in a direction as far as finding this guy," said Jody Myers.

A $6,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. Police have petitioned the governor's office to increase the reward.

If you have any information on the case, call Caldwell County Crime Stoppers at 828-758-8300.
