MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. – A truck driver sustained a minor injury Thursday afternoon in the Mount Holly Truck Manufacturing Plant in an incident involving a forklift, according to a spokesperson for Daimler Trucks North America.
The driver, who is not a plant employee or locally based, was examined onsite at the plant and transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure, according to the spokesperson.
The incident is still under investigation by plant management.
