CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire at a home in northwest Charlotte on Friday afternoon.

A fire broke out at the home‎ in the 4500 block of Glenwood Drive around 1:45 p.m. near New Beginning Fellowship Church.

Nearly two dozen firefighters from the Charlotte Fire Department were called to battle the fire, which took 16 minutes to put out.

No one was hurt from the blaze, but the family was displace, according to CFD.

It's unclear how much damage the fire caused to the structure.
