CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- An overnight fire damaged a home in east Charlotte.
The heavy flames ripped through a home on Amur Court around 11 p.m.
Fire officials said the fire started in the attic. One person was at home during the time of the fire, but made it out unharmed.
Two neighbors were able to save the family dog.
Offiicals have not said what started the fire.
