SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say an ATM stolen from a credit union in Summerville has been found in nearby Colleton County.
Sheriff's deputies say the ATM was found Tuesday in the bed of a pickup truck.
Police say the thieves used a stolen front-end loader to move the ATM off its foundation and into a pickup truck early Monday.
Police say it is similar to other ATM thefts across the state in recent months but they don't know if Monday's heist is related to the others.
Capt. Jon Rogers said an alarm sounded shortly before 4 a.m. Monday. Officers found a front-end loader that had been stolen from a nearby construction site.
Authorities say two suspects are in custody but have not been charged.
