Registration begins for government program, 500 jobs available

Registration for a government effort to put people back to work kicks off Saturday, March 13, 2010

The "Opportunity Project" subsidized employment program will match people with employers. It will match 500 people with employers, then reimburse those employers. You can apply at Founders Hall from 9 a-m to 2 p-m.

Make sure you bring ID, proof of address and proof of kinship like court documents or a birth certificate.

There will be another fair next Saturday.
