CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Tuesday morning started out foggy and warm for the Charlotte region.
The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory until 10 a.m. The thickest fog is in the south Charlotte and Rock Hill areas.
In the north Charlotte area, the fog isn't as thick, but rain is falling in some parts.
After the early morning fog skies clear, it will become partly sunny and warmer with isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Highs will be in the low to mid-70s. The chance of rain is just 30 percent.
