CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Construction on the new BB&T Ballpark continues to move along on schedule according to Charlotte Knight officials.

Homer the mascot, along with actors from the Renaissance festival, were on hand to usher people  in to the new stadium.

The Knights have already sold out of the season tickets for its club level boxes.

Wednesday, the Knights announced that fans, who are not season ticket holders, can purchase tickets for individual games or even season tickets.

Charlotte Knights Chief Operating Officer, Dan Rajkowski, also said that the Knights have taken steps to host the ACC tournament at the new ballpark.

"There's been a lot of interest both on the field and in these club areas. So stay tuned; there are a lot of good things coming down the road," he said.

BB&T Ballpark will officially return home to Charlotte on April 11, 2014.
