CONCORD, N.C. -- Rowan-Cabarrus Community College - South Campus was briefly placed on a lockdown after a report of a person carrying a gun on campus, according to a school official.
The campus was placed on lockdown around 9 a.m. after someone reported a man carry a handgun on campus after an argument, the school official said.
The campus was lifted from the lockdown around 10:30 a.m.
Campus police have a suspect in custody. There were no reported injuries during the lockdown.
