FORT MILL, S.C. -- Fort Mill authorities have arrested two men accused of kidnapping and robbing a newspaper carrier earlier this week.

Police charged Trumane Tee Daniel and Jeremy Lechloe Thomas with kidnapping and robbery after they robbed a newspaper carrier at gunpoint on Wednesday.

The victim reported to police he was abducted around 4 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of Love's Travel Plaza nearing the intersection of Interstate 77 and Sutton Road.

The victim was delivering the Rock Hill Herald newspaper, according to HeraldOnline.com.

The victim, 32, stated he was at the truck stop to get a few items before starting his newspaper route, and as he left two black men approached him.  The pair asked for a ride, and when the man said no, one of the suspects showed a handgun.

"The suspects forced (the victim) to drive them to an unknown located that is outside Fort Mill City Limits that has yet to be determined," the police report stated.

Daniel and Thomas are being held at the Lancaster County Detention Center.
