CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- It's one of the greatest traditions in our area. The church members from Mallard Creek Presbyterian kicked off their Annual Mallard Creek Barbecue Thursday.
It will be the 84th year folks in our area will come out to the Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church to enjoy barbecue and fellowship.
Thursday is the first day dozens of church members fired up the coals to get ready to cook more than 14,000 pounds of pork. They'll also make their famous Brunswick Stew.
You can enjoy their work beginning on October 24th. The church even has drive through lanes for take out.
