STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Statesville police have released surveillance photos of a man accused of robbing a CVS pharmacy Friday.

Police say the man walked into the pharmacy on Turnersburg Highway just before 10 p.m., pointed a gun at the pharmacist and demanded the pain killer Oxycontin.

The man is between 25 and 35 years old, 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-11, with reddish brown facial hair.

Anyone who recognizes the man should call Statesville Police Department at 704-878-3406 or Crime Stoppers at 704-662-1340.
