CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg located and arrested two men who cut off their electronic monitoring device earlier this month, but one man still eludes them.
Police said Anthony McCreary cut off his electronic monitoring device on February 19 and was last seen near Kimberly Glenn Lane. But officers found McCreary on Wednesday.
McCreary was wanted by the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team on outstanding warrants for possession of a firearm by a felon, assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury, and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
He was ordered to wear a CMPD electronic monitor as a condition of his release from jail on September 15, 2012.
On Thursday, police announced they had located 20-year-old Devin Goode as well.
McCreary and Goode were two of five offenders monitored by CMPD to cut a monitor off in 2013. Four of those five offenders have been arrested.
Police are still searching for 20-year-old Nemiah Jerome Davis.
