MCADENVILLE, N.C. -- Christmas Town USA is ready for visitors.
The switch was flipped Tuesday around 5:15 p.m., illuminating the thousands of lights and preparing the town for the many visitors who will drive through to see the display.
Planners and neighbors put the finishing touches on the display this weekend.
The lights will come on every night until Dec. 26. Monday through Friday the lights come on from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday they come on at 5:30 p.m. and stay on until 11 p.m.
Remember the weekends see the most traffic and the lights are on a timer so if you get in late, you could be left in the dark.
