Mecklenburg County is planning to spend as much as $1.7 million to review its controversial property revaluations.
County Commissioners voted Tuesday to hire Pearson's Appraisal Service.
The company will review 1100 neighborhoods and help design a plan for future revaluations.
Commisioners will also hire Customer Service Solutions of Charlotte to help improve customer relations.
A previous review found mistakes were made in last year's revaluations.
