GRANITE FALLS, N.C. -- Crews rescued a missing man found stranded on a rock in a Granite Falls waterfall Wednesday morning.
The 36-year-old man went fishing at Mill Pond Tuesday night and fell between rocks in the water. He was stuck and spent the night that way.
The man pulled himself on top of a rock by the morning.
Family and friends reported the man missing. Crews responded to that area when someone spotted his car nearby. They used ropes and lifejackets to walk out to him and pull the man to safety.
He was not hurt but was treated for hypothermia.
