HUNTERSVILLE--The father of a missing Huntersville woman says his daughter has been found. She was located by authorities Tuesday night in Hickory.
Police in Huntersville were looking for 26-year old Kristen Woodrow who was house sitting and was last seen early last weekend.
Woodrow worked off and on for a family that lives on Devonshire Drive. When the family left last Saturday on vacation, Woodrow came over to take are of the house and the family's white poodle.
She arrived at the house and after the family left, that was the last anyone saw or heard from her.
"She left her phone at the house and the last contact was about 12:30 Saturday," said her father Scott Woodrow.
When the family she was house-sitting for could not reach Kristen they called police.
Huntersville Police found Kristen was gone, along with her silver Jeep with Florida plates.
Also missing was the family's dog.
Inside the home, police did find her cell phone and her overnight bag.
Because the dog is gone too, her family thinks Kristen might have run out to do a quick errand and that is when she got lost or something else happened.
Huntersville Police said there was no sign of forced entry and nothing to indicate foul play.
Scott Woodrow said his daughter is in a local hospital and is physically fine. Details what led to her disappearance are unclear right now.
