CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A motorcyclist has succumbed to his injuries after a Friday evening crash in Charlotte.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 9300 block of Moores Chapel Road at Kendall Drive.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say a Buick Rendezvous was making a U-turn at the intersection. Andrew Jackson Nalbone was behind the Buick on a motorcycle and struck the driver’s door during the turn.
Nalbone failed to slow, according to investigators.
Medics transported Nalbone, 27, with critical injuries. He was pronounced dead Saturday. A passenger on the back of the motorcycle was also seriously hurt.
The crash is under investigation.
The driver of the Buick was not hurt.
