GAFFNEY, S.C. -- The woman accused of killing a former mayor in South Carolina posted bail and then went back to jail.
Julia Phillips posted a $75,000 bail at the York County Jail Thursday night.
But she was also wanted on unrelated charges in Gaffney. So, authorities took her to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
She's set to appear in court there Friday.
Phillips is charged with killing her boyfriend Melvin Roberts, a former mayor of York.
